How we check a rule
Every trail page quotes the trail manager's own published rule — a state agency, park district or trail authority — and links to it. We don't use bike-brand blogs or forums as a source.
If the manager hasn't published an e-bike rule, we say so and give you their number instead of guessing. Each page shows the date we last checked it.
Spot something wrong? Rules change — the posted sign at the trailhead always wins.
