The rules

Dakota County's general bicycling rule allows legal e-bikes wherever bikes are allowed, but its mountain-bike and Lebanon Hills pages say nothing about e-bikes on singletrack. Trails close when wet or during thaw and for deer hunts.

What the official source says:

Electric-assist or pedal-assist bicycles are allowed wherever normal bicycles are allowed as long as they meet the definition in Minnesota Statute 169.011, Subdivision 27
